Wormwood (artemisia) hydrolat is used for the care of oily, problem skin. This plant combines healing properties with a wonderful aroma of bitter freshness. It shows a bactericidal action in inflammation and damage of the skin, fungus and acne. Speeds up the healing of burns and the repair of skin tissue. Has antioxidant and lipotropic actions.
The essential oil contained in the water is a natural preservative. Thanks to these properties the high quality of the fragrant water is guaranteed without the use of alcohol and preservatives.
The fragrant water contains the water-soluble components of plants: trace elements, flavonoids and polyphenols, which are natural antioxidants that combine wonderfully with other distillation products, the essential oils, and it contains no tannic acid or bitter substances. Fragrant natural waters have the same properties as the essential oils that are part of the water, only they act more gently and are safe for use on delicate areas of the body without harming their irritation-prone skin. Essential floral waters can be used both on their own and as a base for cosmetic products.
Use – Apply the hydrolat to cleansed skin of the face and neck and, without waiting for it to dry, apply a cream or oil; after the bath, and throughout the day, spray the hair.
