The guaranteed shelf life and production date of each CHYSTOTIL cosmetics item are stated on the label. Store cosmetics in a dry, well-ventilated, cool room away from direct sunlight. Avoid getting moisture into the bottle, jar or soap dish.

After use, dry natural handmade soap (especially the softer varieties) on the edge of the bar, or use a soap dish with holes to avoid excess liquid building up.

As a manufacturer of cosmetics and cosmeceuticals, CHYSTOTIL uses only high-quality plant-based ingredients that meet domestic and European quality standards for external use. Our range includes oils with food certificates, which we always state in the product description, for example argan oil or black cumin oil. But the vast majority of our recipes are created for cosmetic treatments.

Whether you will be allergic to a particular recipe or ingredient is something only you can know: it is individual. If you are allergic to certain plants, vitamins or other components, customers usually know this and leave a comment on the order or mention it during a consultation.

If you have sensitive skin that is prone to redness, take a look at these recipes:

• handmade soap "Castile", "Baby Milk", "Baby Soothing", "Linseed", "Sunny Flower", "Chamomile";
• cosmetic care oils "Celandine" and "Vanilla";
• high-quality organic shea (karite) and argan oils.

In making our cosmetics we use only high-quality natural plant-based ingredients. Vegetable oils have different melting points, which determines their form (liquid, solid, butter). For example, coconut oil becomes liquid at 22-24 °C. A sharp change in humidity and temperature in the room can also affect the consistency.

For more comfortable use of an oil, balm, solid cream or scrub (they have a dense structure), place the jar or bottle in a warm place before the treatment or rub the contents between your warm palms. The oil will start to melt from the warmth of your hands, and you can begin.

Cosmetic oils are useful because:

• they are a source of "building blocks" for lipids and are easily absorbed by the skin;
• they contain many acids and vitamins, which affects regeneration, metabolism and the water and oxygen balance of the skin;
• they help retain moisture for a long time and protect against the negative effects of environmental factors.

There is no need to be afraid of oils, you just need to use them correctly: apply a small amount in an even layer to clean, well-moisturised skin (after washing or a peel). After 5 minutes any excess can be blotted with a dry tissue or removed with a steamed towel. If you are in doubt, start with a 15-minute face mask.

All CHYSTOTIL soap recipes are made and packed by hand, without dyes or low-quality fragrances. That is why every bar is unique, and minor differences in colour and shape do not affect the cosmetic properties.

Among our soaps there are softer and fairly hard varieties; some have a rich, dense lather (shampoo soaps, shaving soap, soap for foam massage), while some lather almost without bubbles (for example the "Vanilla Cream" cream soap). All recipes are individual, including their composition: this is needed for a particular cosmetic effect.

The exact weight of a bar is stated on the label (as standard 100 g ± 5 g on the date of packing). Soap is made by the pallet and packed by hand, so you can buy the whole block (1.2-1.5 kg) or part of it.

CHYSTOTIL solid natural creams and balms can be used around the eyes if the cream is chosen to match your skin type and you are not prone to puffiness.

CHYSTOTIL organic creams with a lamellar structure are recommended for the skin of the face, the area around the eyes, the neck and the décolletage. You can choose a day cream (including under make-up) or a night cream from the product description, and our consultants will always help.

CHYSTOTIL makes solid organic shampoos for beautiful and healthy hair. This kind of product has some particularities in use. To get results and switch to natural shampoo easily:

• keep in mind that there is sometimes a "transition period": it is individual and depends on conditioners, water hardness, colouring, hair thickness and length, the season and lifestyle;
• choose a solid or liquid shampoo following the recommendations in the description (if you are not sure, write to us);
• before applying, comb long or curly hair and wet it well under running water;
• work up a small amount of shampoo into a lather on wet hair, and do not soap the hair "more thickly" along its whole length: water and lather do the cleansing, and residue of the soap itself is harder to rinse out;
• if necessary, alternate between a liquid and a solid shampoo to ease the switch to organic;
• rinse the hair thoroughly and make sure no lather remains;
• use a conditioner balm for your hair type, preferably from the CHYSTOTIL line: all the products are designed to work together.

The lather of this shampoo is slightly different from what you are used to: it is dense, airy, not slippery and stays mostly on the surface of the hair. CHYSTOTIL shampoo soaps contain no sulfates, parabens or preservatives. They are anhydrous, so they are economical: with average hair length and washing once every 2-3 days, one bar lasts 2-3 months. "The Barber of Seville" is also suitable for men's shaving: the lather softens the hair and does not cause irritation.

A hydrolat is the water collected after the distillation of plants during the production of an essential oil. It contains a small amount of essential oil (0.1-0.5%) dissolved in water, and other components that essential oils do not have. Hydrolats keep the properties of essential oils, but act more gently and are safe for delicate areas of the body and for irritation-prone skin.

The use depends on the plant and its properties:

• a toner for the face and body;
• a spray or rinse for the hair;
• a body spray;
• a component of a nourishing and moisturising mask;
• a floral perfumed water;
• for rinsing wounds;
• for taking baths.

Viscous black beldi peeling soap is made from olive stone oil and is rich in vitamin E. It is a deep-cleansing exfoliating product and an antiseptic that softens, moisturises, deeply nourishes skin of all types and evens out its colour. Beldi is used for soap massage, gommage, deep cleansing and exfoliation of the skin in a hammam, bathhouse, sauna or at home in the bathroom.

Apply a small amount of beldi to damp skin of the face or body, massage it in for 20-30 seconds and rinse off, or leave it on as a mask for 3-5 minutes. A sponge or kese mitt will enhance the peeling and cleansing. After the treatment the renewed skin needs additional nourishment and protection: a toner, serum, fluid, mask, cream or cosmetic oil.

Before first use, dip the kese mitt in warm water and wring it out: it will become stiffer and ready to work. Kese is used not only in Turkish baths but also at home for the face and body. First steam the body well (in the bathroom, sauna or bathhouse), then use the kese. You can finish the peeling by applying a product based on cosmetic oils, for example argan or macadamia. It does not injure the skin or cause irritation. It is recommended to use kese once every 10 days and to replace it every 6 months.

Caring for the mitt. After each use rinse it and be sure to dry it. Do not treat it with chemicals or wash it in a washing machine. Store it in a clean, dry place.

How to choose a kese. The fabric should be stiff and the texture not slippery (soft and slippery means synthetic). For normal, dry, sensitive and thin skin a soft kese is suitable; for normal, combination and oily skin, a soft or medium-stiff one; for low-sensitivity skin, a stiff one or a camel wool massage mitt.

It is an electronic certificate for a fixed amount, which is sent to the recipient's email as a unique code. You can use this code to pay for an order in the chystotil.com online store for CHYSTOTIL cosmetics products.

Electronic certificates are currently available in denominations from UAH 500 to UAH 15,000 (fixed values chosen on the "Gift certificate" product page). One certificate is one chosen denomination.

The certificate is electronic, with no physical plastic card. After you place and pay for the order, the recipient receives an email with the certificate, a unique code and the expiry date. The email can be forwarded, printed, or you can simply show the code to the recipient in any format.

Online card payment: usually within a few minutes after successful payment. Bank transfer (invoice): the certificate is activated and sent after the funds reach our account, within a business day. If the email takes a long time to arrive, see the answer to the question "What should I do if the email with the certificate has not arrived?".

The certificate can pay for any available products on chystotil.com, except other gift certificates and certain special offers, if this is stated explicitly in the promotion terms. The certificate works with promotional prices and personal discounts, but cannot be combined with other promo codes or coupons.

3. In the "Certificate code / promo code" field, enter the certificate code (in the format CHSTxxxxxx).
4. Click "Apply": the certificate amount will be deducted from the order total.
5. If necessary, pay the difference using a convenient payment method.

One gift certificate can be used per order.

Yes, the certificate can be used several times as long as there is an unused balance on it and it has not expired. If the order total is less than the balance, only the cost of the order is deducted and the rest stays on the certificate. If the total is higher, the certificate is used up to zero and you can pay the difference by any available method. Any unused balance expires when the validity period ends.

12 months from the moment of receipt (the date it was sent to your email). The expiry date is stated on the certificate itself. After the period ends, the certificate is considered expired and cannot be used or renewed.

A gift certificate is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. It can only be used to pay for an order in the chystotil.com online store. In case of a technical error (a double charge or an incorrectly working code), please contact us: we will check the code and help resolve the situation.

When buying a certificate: the personal discount does not apply, promo codes, coupons and other certificates do not work, promotional prices have no effect (a certificate is always sold at face value), and a certificate cannot be paid for with another certificate.

When paying for products with a certificate: it works as a full payment method, in whole or in part; other certificates, coupons and promo codes cannot be added in the same order; if the total is higher than the balance, you can pay the difference by another method; promotional and discounted prices are taken into account; the customer's personal discount applies only to products, not to the purchase of a certificate.

No, a certificate pays for products only. If the total order amount (including the portion paid with the certificate) exceeds UAH 2500, delivery within Ukraine is free: this is a standard CHYSTOTIL cosmetics condition. For example, with UAH 2600 worth of products: UAH 2000 paid with the certificate, UAH 600 by card, delivery is free. If the amount is less than UAH 2500, delivery is paid separately by any available method.

At the moment certificates work for orders placed on chystotil.com. If you want to use a certificate in the showroom or at a special event, write to us in advance: we will check the possibility and help with the arrangements.

Check the "Spam", "Promotions" and "All Mail" folders and make sure the correct email address was entered when ordering. If there is no email within 15-30 minutes after payment, write to us at info@chystotil.com or in a messenger of your choice with the order number, name and the email to which the certificate was supposed to arrive. We will check the payment, resend the certificate or, if necessary, reissue the code.

Write to us with the order number, or the name and email for which the certificate was issued: we will help find or reissue the code if the certificate is still valid and has not been used. The terms of use of gift certificates are an integral part of the public offer.
